Yesterday I took my four-year-old daughter to this salon for her very first manicure and pedicure. We had booked a **kid manicure and pedicure in advance**, and it was confirmed. I was so excited to make this a special experience for her before our Disneyland trip. When we arrived, we were greeted kindly. Finally editing my five star review to two stars. Sadly I used to LOVE this place. I’ve been a long time client coming for several years at this point. And the last few times I’ve been here I’ve been seriously dissatisfied. I’m very sad about it because the salon is nice environment, and the staff are kind and accommodating. Won a raffle giveaway back in December that I was automatically entered in when I visited for a pedicure (amazing job done by Ivy!) Came in to get these pretty Valentine's Nails done a few weeks ago with the $100 gift card. The giveaways are real!!
When i walked in the door for my first appointment at D's, they first asked me to sign an electronic document and i said that i did not want to read or sign anything. They said it was fine. I went in and had a gel manicure and gel pedicure for $94. I tipped $25. They were all so very nice. 2 days later my fingernail chipped and by the 4th day, 3 or 4 were chipped. The chips were substantial in size. (I have never had a gel polish chip.) I called and they repaired the 3 or 4 nails and did not charge me, but i tipped $5. This ... read more
