This company wanted $476 to install a dryer vent ductwork that is next to the wall. The opening for the vent is already cut and is next to the dryer. How can six feet of duct and a new vent cost so much? I paid the $50 fee to inspect this job and told the technician I will find another company. They also would not give me a written quote for the inspection fee. I had this job done by another company for $176.
Constantly tried to get an estimate of cost before scheduling an inspection, they would constantly dodge answering even a ballpark estimate. Finally decided to schedule the inspection and they just came. The technician was good and professional but spent the better part of 10 min to say the flow was fine and I should consider changing the connection for $168, the esimate fee was $53.20. These guys were great. Original installation in my condo was never up to code, and the flex line (illegal to use) came loose. Basically it was ventic CO into the attic. The first estimate I got ran away. Dryer Vent Wizard stayed till 7:00PM on a Saturday to get the place up to code. Saved my wife or I from missing a day of work as a result. Thanks again. Up to code and awaiting our new dryer
Terrible company what a RIP off
came in late and did not finish the job as promised. also very very expensive.
