Literally a damn useless hospital, broke my ankle and needed surgery they didn't give me a thing for the pain, they had me waiting more than 3 hours just to say sorry your gunna have to suffer even longer (aka days because of that snow storm) and just to add to the wait, nobody even sent any of my info to the hospital that THEY sent us to, so when I got there I had to wait even longer, really we had to go above their head and call some superior to get my information even sent.
I feel that many of the negative reviews about Dryden Hospital come from people who may not have experienced other hospitals in North America. Having visited and received care in several different facilities over the years, I can honestly say Dryden Hospital stands out as one of the best. Excellent and supportive emergency department in a remote area. We recently had a medical emergency near Dryden and are so thankful for the excellent work of the first responders, nurses, doctors and all support staff.
We were at the Dryden Hospital yesterday for my hip replacement. I have never had surgeries before so I was a little anxious. From the time we walked in until the time we left, the care, knowledge and patience made this experience absolutely wonderful. It's strange to say I "enjoyed" my surgery but everything was explained to us and never did I feel any unease throughout the process.
