This review is for the Bar at Drybar. Is it odd to want to go to a salon for a drink? Like the titanic held the heart of the ocean, Drybar holds Mikey, the heart of Waikiki. Un-intrusively personable & quite funny, Mikey was an absolute gem behind the bar. Drinks were remarkably balanced and somehow he was able to use what little I stated of what I liked to drink to make the only drink I’m still thinking about days later. 10/10, no notes.
Amazing service. This is the best dry bar I’ve been to! Everyone who has done my long extensions styling and blowouts my hair was amazing! Mikey makes amazing cocktails at the bar as well.
Believe the one star reviews. My daughter had a terrible experience here. Didn't do the style she asked for (said there wasn't enough time) and yet she was finished *before her friends who had booked the same service and actually started ahead of her with their stylists. She should have gotten out of the chair and walked away but then they would have charged her for canceling. DO NOT GO HERE.
Went in for a blow out in Waikiki being that I was there on holiday and taking family portraits in the beach. Was assigned Heidi. She acted like she was new and didn’t know how to touch hair, although she was gentle. I have naturally frizzy, curly hair and she needed to straighten it. She did not and made me hair look awful.
