Is this normal? I get it’s about to rain and I have fine hair. Should I ask for something different next time? (Asked for pin curls) Please advise. Otherwise service was great and everyone was so kind. Willing to comeback. Just wanting to understand what’s best if I’m going to continue a subscription. Thanks!
I’ve been a loyal Drybar member for a while, but I’m very disappointed with the new pricing for textured hair. When I asked about the change, I was told it was because of my hair type, then corrected to say it was about the time it takes—yet service time varies by stylist, not just hair type. On top of that, I still have unused credits but now have to pay extra to use them. This pricing feels exclusionary toward people with textured hair, which often means people of color.

They absolutely do all textures of hair! I was hesitant as a black woman however there are not many last min stylist available for all textures of hair HOWEVER the Dry Bar was open inviting and never made me feel like it was going to be a problem. I felt very pleased with the customer service, zero pre appointment maintenance needed. You just go in and get your hair done. This has not been the case for me in a very long time. My hair was barely washed. The curls did not stay more than an hour. The worst blowout experience I’ve ever had. 1/10 do not recommend
