I've heard good things about this place and finally got the time to check it out. Great view, nice ambiance but unfortunately our food took forever (about 30mins) and I don't know why since the place was half empty when we were there. Some people who arrived later than us got their food first and it was pretty much the same orders we got except for the pasta dish.However, the calamari and pasta was very good. Worth the wait? Great restaurant, delicious food and fantastic view over Sarasota Bay. Also has unique contemporary decor with cool canoes and kayaks (most of them wooden) hanging over the ceiling. Though it's not on the menu, if you eat a vegetarian diet, ask for veggie tacos, they are great!
My husband and I were celebrating my birthday. It was our first time there. We absolutely loved everything. The food was amazing. The best crab cakes ever. The view was out of this world gorgeous. The service was beyond great it was excellent !!!! We stopped in the day before to check it out. They were so nice letting us check everything out before hand. Food was great, we got right in and there is a nice view of the water with fans blowing on us to keep us cool on a hot summers night. Highly recommend.
A whole group of us went from the Sail and Power Squadron from Anna Maria Island. The food was great the service was wonderful. There was room for boats and help in docking too!
Our last night in the area.... Best discovery of the trip! It is a beautiful place... The view is awesome... The entire staff so friendly and happy... Our waitress JO gets a 10! We will be telling our friends and can't wait to come back! Thank you Dry Dock Grille!
Really good food and the service was great as well. Grilled red snapper, blackened grouper, and calamari were outstanding. Great view on the covered patio.
