We had a great stay, it was clean, and staff was very nice and food was good
New building. Nice amenities, good location. However, there were lots of little problems. Not enough elevators and/or slow elevators. We waited a significant amount of time for them. A couple of times we took the stairs (7 stories!) and made it down/up quicker than the ones on the elevator. Also, there was not enough seating for mealtimes. If you were not one of the first ones to make it to dinner, there were no places to sit. They opened one of the conference rooms but that still didn't seem like enough. Stayed here as a half way point to Tennessee. The property is in great shape, that was noticeable just arriving. I was disappointed that upon entering, nobody was at the check in counter. This was at about 4:30 in the afternoon on this past Sunday. It took five minutes for someone to come out and check us in. Drury is my fav chain and this is my FAV property I’ve been to. It’s a new facility, completed in 2024-2025. The PLAZA moniker means it has a brand new feature: a kitchen & bar area open every night. This one, like the breakfast & dinner space, has both indoor and outdoor seating. It might dound odd in a review, but the emevatirs were smooth and had pleasant sounds indicating what it was doing.
