As a solo traveler, I enjoy Drury Hotels. Staff is stellar, I feel safe and the rooms are generally held to a high standard. However, the Drury at St Louis Union Station is a VERY noisy hotel. I am in a 3rd floor Interior King and the noise from families enjoying the pool after dinner reverberates up the interior core, and I can hear the person who just took a shower etc above me much too clearly. The rooms are clean, spacious, and prepped with soft bedding and towels. Every staff member - room attendants, maintenance, food & beverage staff, and front desk - greets guests with smiles. The food was plentiful with alternating options (Kickback) and the bartender offers a variety of cocktails. Its location means easy access whether coming off I64 or city streets, close to Metrostation, several restaurants nearby.
