We loved this place the last time we came for it's amazing location and wonderful staff. We are here again paying Spring Break Rates (most I have ever paid for a hotel) because we loved it last time, but I am having such a hard time not being upset right now. Do not get a 00 at the end room! We are right by the elevator and I have sensory issues and will not sleep tonight, it's endless noise! I'm usually a Hilton person but this location has better reviews. It's a former YMCA which has an interesting vibe. Arrived late due to flight delays to a locked door which took 2 buzzes and interrogation to get let in to pay $320 a night. Then they added a $50 temporary hold for "incidentals". This entire hotel worked perfectly from the close secure parking, great pool/hot tub, to the great breakfast. Pool was always stocked on towels and everything was clean. You walk out the front door and you are literal minutes from Union Station and can grab a cold draft Budweiser. If I forgot something in my car, I was minutes away from it in the garage. Would definitely recommend and will be back.
The location is great for this hotel but that's really what you're paying for here. Close to many attractions & restaurants. The service around the dining area was good. There was always someone going around cleaning up or filling the food stations. Every time we went to the pool area, we had to go back to the front desk & ask for more towels. The room was outdated & the view was a brick wall.
First time in a Drury & honestly we will never stay anywhere else but with them! Everything about our stay was PERECT! The rooms were top notch, 2 free full meals each day. A nice pool & hot tub. The staff were so very nice and accommodating. Water pressure was strong. Beds were comfy. Rooms are spacious. This one is situated around everything to do in St Louis. 100% recommend!
