I've hit every smokehouse from Kansas, st. Louis, Nashville, Florida, Texas, etc... I love real bbq, have 2 smokers in my yard too. I have got to say... Drunky's is legit! The real deal. I know some people think bbq is boiled ribs and brisket drenched in off the shelf sauce, but that's for folks who don't understand the art of a real smokehouse and the unique texture and taste of ribs, chicken and brisket done right.
Went into Drunky's for the first time the other day, we ordered "the bone yard" chicken, brisket and a rib. The meal seemed kinda skimpy for the price. the brisket was sliced about 3/4 of an inch thick, and only about half the slice was there. The chicken thigh was mostly bones, and the rib was meaty, but pretty burnt on one side. All the meat had a lot of flavor, and I thought the spicy BBQ sauce was one of the best sauces I've had. Such an amazing place! Excellent barbecue to boot (no pun intended). It's a five star not even close, but perhaps only thing that could make this amazing place even more amazing is being able to sit outside after 7 PM during the summer! So great! (Happy to pay outdoor seating fee!!!)
