They are against dropping charges for minor marijuana possession. 100 years after prohibition failed and they still believe it is a good system. At least alcohol is addictive and much stronger. This is coming from a recovered heroin addict and someone who doesn’t smoke weed anymore by the way. Pharmaceuticals are the true gateway.

Drug Free Marion County is AWESOME! They network with others to help solve the opiate crisis. I am so appreciative of the Celebrate Life Event that happens in October each year. It gives parents a chance to celebrate the lives of their loved ones that have passed away due to addiction. A time to say our children are so much more than their addiction.

I really appreciate Drug Free Marion County and the Colts hosting the Lives Lost to Overdose event each year. It is a special way to celebrate the lives of our children who have passed away too soon.

Alcohol sales during the State Fair. SB 168 will allow for the sale of beer, wine, and liquor during the state fair. the fair board says that they want to be able to promote Indiana Agribusinesses including craft beer brewers, artisanal distillers, and wineries. The law change is not limited or prescriptive to those uses. This change will if not this year, soon create the specter of alcohol sales of all types, anywhere on thE fairgrounds.
