I tried. I really tried to be their client. They cancelled my appointment citing my insurance provider. It’s Avesis. They take Avesis. Then, their chat bot texted me to reschedule after I “missed” my appointment. Then I was told they were closed and I’ll get a response when they open. I was standing in the office when I was told they’re closed. Needless to say, I didn’t get any service here.
Lynda did a great job getting my wife and I fitted out with a new pair of glasses. I really appreciated the amount of time she gave to us to ensure we got the pair of glasses we wanted. When we left, I felt happy about the purchase and the entire process.
I'm a real pissy customer when it comes to glasses. Given EssilorLuxottica's chokehold on the entire industry, I typically come into my glasses buying experience ready for war. I came to the Franconia location with a spreadsheet on my phone of wholesale price averages on different brands to compare to the store's prices (many places markup 400-500% on frames). The staff is nice. My issue is that I ended up waiting almost an hour and a half to see the doctor. Working in healthcare, I usually am understanding if the doctor is running behind or a little late because things can happen that are out of the doctor’s control, but waiting almost an hour and a half to be seen is way too much and unfortunately, this happened last year as well.
