I am amazed at the reviews I am regarding this surgeon. I must of got him on a very bad day. While in the prep room before going into theatre for my second knee replacement surgery I had to ask him who he was. He didn't introduce himself to me. After surgery I never saw him again. I had this surgery 3 years ago and have had nothing but trouble with it ever since.I had my knee replaced 5 years ago by a surgeon from Melbourne and it is wonderful. Not only is he an Amazing Surgeon he is a very nice guy ,great bedside manner. Ive had both knees done one by him and the other someone else and the difference is incomparable, far less pain and I was discharged 24 hrs after surgery. And his Assistants are always polite helpful and in my Case minded my dog while i met with Dr Van winden. Highly Recommend

Both knees now done. Peter is brilliant and you can hardly see the scars. Highly recommended.
Had hip replacement early Dec 2024, no pain, bruising or swelling - amazing Surgeon. Very approachable personality, easy to talk to - highly recommend.
