I unfortunately did not have a great experience and it's possible that I just didn't have a great connection especially via telehealth. I came to Dr. Lyz with a lot of anxiety and trouble sleeping. I tried to open up as much as I could and there were many moments that instead of responding she would just stare at me silence which made me feel very uncomfortable. I have really gotten to know Dr. Lyz DeBoer over the past few years, and she is now one of my most esteemed colleagues. On a personal level, she is so lovely, and I always appreciate her clinical perspectives. She is excellent with case conceptualization and very ethically minded. I would highly recommend her.
