Anyone have a number associated with George Wiley Jr. who got scammed on a vehicle which wasn’t delivered? Could also be DC Cars or Dr. Auto. Working an investigation into this scam. Thanks in advance.
This place is some weird scam, I live in Arizona and they have flagged one of my cars carfax reports as being for sale in Maryland. The phone number is bad and so is the web site and online it looks like a junkyard Stay away
The guy George was emailing me back and forth and texting me about a 2020 Mustang they had listed on Carfax. Said he would lower the price even more if it was a cash deal. As I was setting up the funding as soon as I needed a picture of the front and back of the title plus a notarized proof of ownership he just disappeared once he realized I wasn’t going to just wire him money without out proof and having a PPI done. Was looking at a car on Autotrader that pointed me to this dealer. Never got a chance to call due to work and other things in life. 2 weeks later website is shut down, the next day, the phone number goes to a marketing VM, and the Carfax number does the same. As I am writing this on 6/1/26, it appears Carfax has pulled them as a dealer, and reading the last 2 reviews below me (when sorted by most recent), I can understand why....SCAM.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!! You never think it will happen to you but here I am. I purchased a vehicle from Drive Auto I seen on Car Guru and never received the vehicle. Communication was on point up until the wire transfer cleared, please dont make the same mistake I did....
