There are not enough stars to represent the stellar quality of this Dr.and his staff. I have been to 7 " specialists" for my eyes. One being for the entire Southwest region. Every single one gave me no help and NO hope. I found both at this location. Stellar quality care. I liken it to Mayo Hospital in Minnesota. To which I have been. Dr. Acosta is truly exceptional. His extensive background—serving in the Air Force followed by graduating with honors —speaks to both his discipline and level of expertise. You can feel that depth of experience the moment you meet him. We initially went to Buena Vista, where the optometrist misdiagnosed our son as legally blind without completing a proper evaluation as was grossly irresponsible . Wait time is 2hours plus! Been coming for 4 years and has never changed!!! No other choice but the wait time is ridiculous!
Do not take your kids to this eye care. They are a money making business and they really don’t care about your childs needs. The wait time with Dr. McIntosh is 3 to 4 hours. Customer service is horrible and if you call their help desk they get everything wrong. They will not email prescriptions. You have to go in person and to change contact brands you have to take your child back to have another 4 hour appointment.
