The shop was nice, but as someone who really likes lattes and makes their own— I wouldn’t ever recommend this to someone who actually likes coffee. Went with friends, I got a brown sugar latte with vanilla cold foam and banana syrup. Took a while to make and there was only two workers on a busy Sunday. Tasted nothing like banana, to the point where I don’t even think it was added (It was a 9 dollar drink so I expect it to be made correctly the first time when it’s really not that complicated and hard to read a ticket correct... read more
They made such a fabulous mocha!!
Can't go more than one star for such a watery and silty espresso pull. Very bad!
Very good coffee here, coming from a picky coffee customer. I don't do milk drinks so I can't speak to that, but as for the base quality of their beans and brew, they get high marks here. It's always a good sign, especially in Michigan, when a roaster's bags have a clear origin, process, flavor notes and a roast level/date. Petoskey Coffee Co had all that, with a bonus of having an Ethiopian natural in stock, which I always seek out.
