We loved the place. Our last morning in Petoskey we wanted to try this little coffee shop. I had an Americano and my wife had a plain latte with coconut milk…delicious! We also enjoyed talking with the owner/manager. We wish the best for Petoskey Coffee Company.
honestly my coffee was really bad. I got the brown sugar shaken espresso latte decaf. it tasted like burnt milk. All my friends agreed with me lol People I went with got the salted maple latte with oat milk (also very below average) and the other friend got chocolate covered cherry latte (she liked it but said it was maybe a 3.5 stars)
Reviews didn't disappoint as I ventured in after a watered down cup from breakfast at roast and toast and had read of the Petoskey Coffee Co Ethiopian bean which is a favorite. When I arrived, it was a great music selection, relaxed feel with perfect lighting and great spot for reading as I saw one patron doing and another working away. Not too bisy, just right. The shop was nice, but as someone who really likes lattes and makes their own— I wouldn’t ever recommend this to someone who actually likes coffee. Went with friends, I got a brown sugar latte with vanilla cold foam and banana syrup. Took a while to make and there was only two workers on a busy Sunday. Tasted nothing like banana, to the point where I don’t even think it was added (It was a 9 dollar drink so I expect it to be made correctly the first time when it’s really not that complicated and hard to read a ticket correct... read more
