I am a landlord who has used Mike Drinan's services for over 15 years. Mike Drinan is a true professional and has always found us fantastic tenants. All of our tenants have given him great reviews as well. I see our most recent tenant just gave him a 1-star review and complained about him. All I can say is that this same tenant loved Mike for almost three years, but after Mike refused to let him break the lease early, he decided to write this review. Rented a property managed by them back in 2024. Not sure what they actually do besides advertise because I exclusively dealt with everything through my landlord after signing my lease agreement. In Portland they can not charge an application fee but they did anyways (it was before I knew). They also knowingly advertised my unit for $2300, I negotiated them down to $2000 ONLY TO FIND OUT THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE RENT IS $1650. They are knowingly breaking Portland Maine rent control laws. BEWARE
This guy Mike is a real treat. I was a tenant at a property he "managed" for multiple years. He didn't do a thing other than accept rent checks. Never managed the property or provided maintenance. The landlord was great, but anytime Drinan Properties got involved it was beyond insensitive and unprofessional. I purchased a home and moved out early. I committed to the landlord my obligation, but said it would be great if they could find somebody to fill it. Mike's response: "I have better things to do". A true professional
Mike has helped lease our properties for years. He provides us with great tenants. He always been professional and knowledgable about the local market. If you ar a good tenant Mike can help you find a place.
