Not worth the $50/person price for kayaking in Tyler State Park. First, we went to the wrong location because the other one also has "Tyler State Park" in the Google Maps title (why??). Fortunately we could change our reservation. The kayaking experience was mediocre - you can't get very far before reaching an area with a current so strong you can't go any further, and at least 60% of the route was full of thick seaweed that was extremely difficult to paddle through (and gross!). I don't usually find it easy to do activities for personal reasons but I'm so glad I gave kayaking a try. It ended up being such a peaceful and relaxing experience. Micah, Luke, and Kaden were incredibly professional, made safety a top priority, and were kind and encouraging throughout. They were very helpful. I highly recommend this experience to anyone.
It was an amazing time. Calm waters and easy to paddle through. The staff were amazing with setting us up with our kayaks and getting in and out of the water. Would come again.
