Is not transient friendly. there were only a handful of sites in the front and the other sites were all the way in the back away from all amenties. had to drive to pool and campground store. Also to get to this area you had to drive down a vacant tree lined road seperating us from everyone ( i called it gilligans island).... the nearest market was 2 miles up the road which took us 10/15 minutes to get from the rear of the park to the market.. .. nothing special here.
this was our first stay at Driftwood and honestly would not come back. when we arrived our cabin was dirty and had a horrible smell. the mattresses were thin and rock hard. we went for showers after a trip to the beach and the water was ice cold!! everyone was complaining, I have never stayed anywhere and not had warm water. when speaking to someone about it we were told there was nothing they could do. trying to get late check out was a joke, yet there were cabins sitting empty. Great family environment. Fun all around for the kids
The mattresses in the premium cottages are very thin in the one bedroom. The water smells bad and is yellow. There is only one small towel bar in the entire cottage. The floors were dirty when we got there. The $200+ rental fee per night made me expect a little more.

We just finished a week stay in one of the cottages. super clean, the campground has so much to do. The pools were really nice and clean. It's our new summer spot!
