We had an efficiency with a small kitchen. This was a nice feature which allowed us to save some money on meals. The room was a bit worn but functional. You won't mistake this place for the Waldorf but you can sleep here comfortably. The outdoor pool was nice and not very crowded for a busy day. Lounge chairs were easy to find. Also, the private beach was great to have. A very walkable distance to the boardwalk is a nice plus. I would recommend this place without reservation but don't expect top of the line room decor.
We had an amazing time here on our Mother-Daughter get-away! I would highly recommend spending time here at the Driftwood. The view from the room was breathtaking and their pool and outside deck were so beautiful and clean and they sit right on the beach. The staff at this family owned Motel could not have been any more pleasant, funny and accommodating. I would definitely make another trip there as soon as I could. The Crazy girls from PA in room 135 will be returning, so watch out! (:
