Diet restrictions are not supervised and 'for profit' is reflected with low quality, Sysco provided fare. therapy department is excellent. Be aware that dementia patients are allowed to roam the halls and are mixed with the general population, often blocking the hallways or in YOUR room. Sleep is difficult at times due to some residents screaming due to pain or mental conditions. Admin claims there are no provisions for 'special needs' residents to not be within the general population.
Seem to medicate patients more than necessary and do not respond to the call buttons within a few minutes. Many clients ( my 95 yr. old uncle) getting thinner and more frail. Nurses overworked. Received 4 calls in one day re: my uncle not having prescriptions filled, lethargic, crying, sleeping. The next day all is fine.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff . They are warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better.

It seems like the doctors drug some of the patients to keep them quiet. I dont like seeing my mom in a vegetable state.
