We were one of Drifter Vans first custom builds (2021). We worked directly with Paul to design our dream van. Paul then handed our van build over to Kim but didn't pass along any of the details discussed about our van build. The van we received was built to the specifications of one of their "template" builds which included none of the custom features as was discussed with Paul. Our build had three priorities. 1.) We were among the first customers of Drifter Vans (2021), selecting Paul Domish after thorough research. Despite Paul's limited experience, we were drawn to his promises and vision for our van. However, our decision proved disastrous as it led to a series of missed deadlines and the delivery of a custom van plagued with electrical issues, improper installations, and damages. It is now August 2025, I have been living in my van full time for 18 months. I am still extremely happy with the craftsmanship of my home in a van. I recently drove back to MI from CA, to have Drifter conduct updates, repairs and add new equipment. These folks, are truly the best people I have worked with. They are talented, kind, professional. We are the second owners of a custom built Drifter Van. We had originally been looking to get a new van (Drifter was not on our radar at that time), and after settling on a builder, began to realize it was a bit pricey for our needs. We found this used Drifter Van and purchased it. We are so happy with it.
