Drifter Vans is truly a hidden gem right here in southeastern Michigan. My wife and I are lifelong Michiganders, yet somehow we had never heard of this remarkable upfitter until recently. We recently picked up our new custom van from Drifter and are incredibly pleased with the quality and customer service. We are loving it! We did have a few issues (expected in a brand new build), and they were taken care of quickly and with expertise. Kim and the team were GREAT to work with. What a nightmare. I am sure there are other companies that can do better. I cannot recommend them at all based upon my experience Having to do multiple hours of work fixing a botched install to now hiring work to replace their failed install. Buyers beware!
We were one of Drifter Vans first custom builds (2021). We worked directly with Paul to design our dream van. Paul then handed our van build over to Kim but didn't pass along any of the details discussed about our van build. The van we received was built to the specifications of one of their "template" builds which included none of the custom features as was discussed with Paul. Our build had three priorities. 1.)
