My daughter saw Dr Fred B for an abdominal hernia. I was an RN working at Sunnybrook at the time so I thought he was a good choice , being one of the surgeons at the time. I should have requested Dr Millar at the time. He had a better reputation and was more experienced. By the way I never liked Dr B. On Wed November 16, 2022 I took my mother to Sunnybrook hospital emergency because she had excruciating pain in her umbilical area. She realized it was a hernia and prior to that she started vomiting. We realized it was serious. After taking lots of blood and CT scan the ER doctors on duty called Dr. Brenneman that it’s an emergency. They explained the situation to to Dr. Brenneman on the phone he rushed down to see my mother and said that he looked at the CT scan and suggested surgery immediately.
