I went to Drew Newhoff for trigger finger. He was not very sociable and after completing the procedure, he did not provide any instructions on what to expect. I did not have any idea if I should Ice or apply heat to the finger after a few days to help with swelling. I also was given no instructions on any type of therapy. I am still recovering after a couple of months. I did a follow up and was assigned a Nurse assistant, which didn't have much instruction other than to see a Occupational therapist.

As a former healthcare provider myself I found Dr. Newhoff to be intelligent, compassionate, personable, and his competency is without question. He handled my diagnosis and resultant surgery with true professionalism. He personally called me at home after my surgery to make sure everything was fine and responded to other calls I placed to his office with dispatch and efficiency including my Rx refill. Bravo for being a true medical professional.
Do not recommend. He was pretty much useless. When he finally entered the room he acted as though he wanted to be elsewhere and make it quick. He just said he agreed with what the radiologist report said, which was unclear, and that he could either give a shot or do surgery. He didn't explain what/where the precise issue was or show me. He didn't ask or assess the thresholds or limitations the ailment had on me, or even tell me how to take care of it. What a waste of time and money. Avoid!
