Built 2 homes for the family with Drees Builders in DFW area. I would give them 2/5. There were a few good things that I would like to highlight first but mostly the experience was less than mediocre. The goods: 1. had a good selection of plans to pick from and were willing to work with us to customize. 2. DREES DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR FAMILY. - DON’T BUILD WITH THEM OR DREES WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL. Building with Drees was, and still is, the worst experience ever. Poor craftsmanship, incompetent contractors, and more problems and stress than I could’ve ever imagined. I’m a reasonable person but this company is terrible. Worst customer service seen before. They are not going fix house problems after taking the house. I cannot see before 1 rating here.

We had very bad experience with Drees homes . We bought a brand new house from Drees which is custom build . House has many flooring issues 1- there was a big hump in the floor outside of our master bedroom ..though this was told to the contractor in the beginning but Drees could not take action ..after months of follow ups they fixed it but created another issue and made bedroom entrance sloppy they literally created small slide at the bedroom entrance .. when this was highlighted to the contractor he was very rude and men... read more

Our Drees Home has a brick wall and chimney, but it was not properly constructed, leading to a significant leak, mold, and water damage. We have been told by our contractors that Drees used mortar that was too sandy, and that not enough mortar was put between the bricks, leading to the leak. We have finally fixed the problem after several years of effort, while leaving our family room wall open to monitor the leak and incurring thousands of dollars of expenses.
