I was excited for the food until I released portions where under cooked and a little cold; ie hash browns, cinnamon roll, toast untoasted ( bit nit picky ). However great location and atmosphere

First, I want to start off by saying that what I ordered was fabulous! The flatiron steak and eggs. The problem is, what everyone else in my group ordered was clearly made before mine, placed under a warmer light while my steak cooked and caused their food to be not so great. The avacodo toast? Slimy. The breakfast tacos? Broke apart. The fish tacos? Same thing! You have to actually warm up the tortillas people! Then, our waitress... She did not check on us once. Dream Cafe is a local staple for the brunch scene in Grand Junction. I feel like the only reason they get the business they do is because of their lack of competition. The food quality, service, and overall experience has been in decline for years since the ownership change. I have tried time and time again to give them the benefit of the doubt, but Dream Cafe is a subpar restaurant especially for the prices.
