I feel compelled to share my very concerning experience at this clinic. In my case, unlike typical pain clinics in BC, where medications are provided free of charge, this doctor asked me to use my insurance, get the pain medication from a pharmacy, and bring it back—sometimes up to three times. Additionally, I had an epidural injection for my back pain that was performed blindly, without any ultrasound or imaging guidance. I saw Dr Yu for over a year for lower back & neck cortisol injections. I do NOT recommend! At no time did Dr Yu look at X-rays or medical reports regarding my degenerative disc disease. He had no treatment plan and said he just does “what your GP wants”. He has some unusual method of treatment whereby some pharmacy calls and orders the cortisol on my behalf, using my medical insurance. Then they deliver to the Dr. Very strange. I am 37 weeks pregnant and went in for an iron infusion. Dr. Yu was able to get me scheduled in 6 days, the appointment was quick and easy (the nurses were amazing and so friendly and gentle) and I was out of there feeling better than when I walked in! I r ecommended Dr. Yu to two of my girlfriends who have already been scheduled in for their pregnancy top up of iron! Will definitely be back postpartum for another quick visit! Thank you everyone at RAPC!
Thank you so much for amazing experience. I went to get iv transfusion. All of the staffs nurses and Dr. Yu were so friendly and comforting. I loved the experience
After receiving a referral from my GP, I got an iron infusion from Dr. Yu‘s office with a wait time of about four weeks. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional, and Dr. Yu was very thorough and kind in his consultation. I received a newer iron drug to the market and the infusion only took about 30 minutes. As someone who needs frequent iron infusions I look forward to my next visit at Dr. Yu‘s office. There was lots of parking available, and I really liked the Sunday appointment.
