I would avoid these builders at all costs. Only a few years living here and have cracked bathroom tiles. Ceiling crack across the kitchen that was never repaired properly under warranty. Garbage disposal fell apart and caused a kitchen leak due to poor installation. The entire upstairs flooded when we moved in due to bathroom drains not being installed properly.

Gotta say that I’m pretty disappointed in the way a leaking roof gets handled with Olthof. It’s been 2 and a half months since the leak started and it’s leaking worse now than when it started. The sense of urgency with an issue like this is absolutely unacceptable. Maybe this review will get them to take these types of issues a little more seriously. UPDATE: the roof is STILL leaking after the “fix” it’s now been 3 months and a week with a leaking ceiling.

I purchased this home from Olthof pre-built. Having previously purchased a spec home from a different builder I assumed this process would be the same. I was mistaken. These guys take it seriously. We had a 30-day walkthrough after purchasing and they fixed issues on the spot and have called others to fix issues. They also called for a repair prior to the 30-day. The sales process was so easy. Kara was patient with all of the questions and I really enjoyed working with her.
