I was told I had four cavities and stage III periodontal disease requiring a deep cleaning of my entire mouth. I get my teeth cleaned every 3-4 months, brush with a Sonicare, and floss twice a day. I was shocked at this diagnosis, and went to two other dentists for other opinions. Both dentists told me that I did not have any periodontal disease, and couldn't find any cavities. I think he looked at me as a cash cow since he could bill Medicaid for the procedures. Very concerning.
