As a local, I had eaten here years ago and never went back. I couldn’t remember why until yesterday. The service! It was horrible. I went around 7:30pm. Got seated right away because I went to the bar. & yes, I know the bartender has the whole bar section, including tables but geez. It took forever for her to come over and when she did, she did not smile once. She really seemed like she did not want to be there. The service from the waitress was fantastic and the food was good bar food. The hostess stand is a different story…it’s end of July during a busy tourist season. We got here at 530 with 9 people…they don’t take day of reservations. Hostesses could have cared less when we got sat or if we got sat. The restaurant was half full. It took us telling them we will just go somewhere else if they can’t seat us after 20 minutes. Finally figured it out…it’s not that difficult.
Crispy pork belly sandwich was pretty good and made for a great lunch
This place had about 6-8 tables open in front where you can view the beach. I picked a specific seating area we wanted cause of the sun. We had to wait 10 minutes for no reason. When they sat us, it wasn't the seat we wanted. But my wife said just let it go. So I did. Then I noticed the party next to us left. The bus boy came over and done something I've never seen before. In my entire life I have never experienced bad service like this place. Our party or 3 sat next to a party or 2 at the bar… 4 of us had the tortilla chips, $18 by the way, and all of us found them stale. We complained to the bartender, and they offered one free drink. I took it… when I went to the bathroom, drink saving my seat, they took my drink away and gave the seats to another group! When I complained they threatened to have security escort me out.
