As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series and Maui Desire Romance Series novels, I always appreciate great food with a strong setting, and Draft South Mission delivers both. The location is hard to beat. It sits right on the boardwalk with wide ocean views and constant movement along the beach. This was our third time going to the walk up coffee window at the draft. Let me just say the food was 10/10 and so was the coffee so for this reason we will return. We ordered the banana bread latte and a mocha (iced) and both these drinks were fantastic. We also attempted to order two breakfast sandwiches. This went poorly because they were out of this item (which is okay). The lady informed us they this was the only item they were out of stock of. Good food. Service is really slow at the bar. Bartenders have a lot to do with washing glasses etc. It’s really cold in the restaurant especially in the bar area. The air conditioning is always on. Terrible waste of electricity and makes it uncomfortable for customers. I’d ask management to turn the AC off once in a while. All the doors and windows are open so why blast the A/C 24/7. Would save a bunch of money and help the environment.

I’m 30 and was denied service at the bar because 3 idiots couldn’t verify a Washington State ID. Mind you, this was after I had already been served a beer by a waitress in the restaurant. Horrible experience and a waste of time
