We stopped preplanned ultrasound once I shared that my condition improved greatly over the course of a month without taking any drugs. Discussed in further details back in his office to get a better understanding of urination frequency and flow.Dr. Schiffman's recommendation to delay any invasive surgery was the right decision for my unusual and inconsistent symptoms. My body started correcting itself. My next visit is 6 months from now.
Overall, Dr. Schiffman presented as a competent physician; however, I prefer physicians to utilize the available medical history to inform and advise decisions for a new patient.Nonetheless, we elected to request John’s medical records from Novant Health System in North Carolina regardless of Dr. Schiffman’s dismissal of their relevance in the current medical evaluation. I came in after he put in a bladder sling. I told him I still had incontinence. He laughed and said no you don’t. I told him o was also concerned because some of the slings had been recalled. He laughed again and told me to take off my skirt and underwear as he stood there and stared with his nurse next to him. The he told me to pull my shirt up and cough. It felt like falling in a trap. Started with kidney stones. The doctor failed to send transfer records to the next doctor. Unprofessional handling of the whole case. 1 year of Torment.

treated my daughter and I. I took my 17 year old daughter to see Dr. Schiffman for recurring UTI, bladder discomfort. First of all he was very condescending to us as we described what was going on. He then told her to take off her pants and underwear, not telling her what he was going to do. He came in the room and catheterized her to get urine without warning her what was about to happen, then preceded to do a invasive womanly exam with no warning.
