This 'Doctor' first saw me for a TBI that I received as an older teen. At the first appointment the Dr. wouldn't talk to me as I am a woman and would only speak with my dad. He actually asked my dad to silence me in my own appointment. After several years of pretty much only seeing the PA and rude staff, long wait times, no aftercare from injury, basically no testing, and lack of care, I had to go elsewhere. Emergency visits were treated by the staff as a huge inconvenience and they are so mean and disrespectful to patients.... read more

Of the four neurologists I've had to see in the past ten years he was absolutely the worst. I missed an appointment because of a death in my family and they REFUSED to let me make another appointment. The amount of stress I was under during that time was indescribable and my seizures GOT WORSE. For everyone reading this.. GO TO MIDLAND!

Had a follow up appointment after MRI. Staff didn't know anything about it. I had an appointment card. I waited over an hour for the dr to see me. (I don't think he was in the building). Never again

Went to their Alma office for some testing, everytime I called there was no answer. When I arrived I saw at least 3 women in the back messing around. Was told I'd get my test result in 1-2 weeks, it has been well over 3. Very disappointed. called yesterday in regard to my results, left a voicemail, have yet to hear back. May need to go somewhere else since they seem to not ne providing adequate care.

The absolute worst doctor, PA, nurses and staff I have ever experienced. On top of the rude, condensending, and uncaring attitudes of everyone in the office, I was also misdiagnosed. Wait times are awful 45 mins to 2 hours every time. They even forgot about me in the waiting room once. Neither Dr Shaikh or his PA listen and pay attention to you. Rarely even make eye contact during the 5 to 10 mins allowed per visit.

Dr. Shaikh is great; his staff however, are extremely rude. If you can't be polite and work with people you have no business in an office position that works with people. Instead of rudely telling myself and someone else to have a seat, change your tone and say please. You can sure do it when relaying to office staff...I witnessed it! Wait time is horrible too...over an hour wait and still did not get the test I had the appointment for!! Ridiculous!! My time is valuable too!!

If you have a choice of locations don't pick the one in McLaren Medical Arts building because he's only in that office on Fridays and it's a pain in the posterior to get prescription refills since the other office won't do it.

My wife just started to see Dr. Shaeikh after several mini-strokes and one big stroke. He saw her once and then scheduled her follow ups with his nurse practioner who is polite and all but does not seem to know a lot and does not seem to be interested in doing anything other than seeing her every 3 months. I did not like that attitude at all and will switch care to another neurologist. His receptionist was also very rude when I asked why the switch was made. I would have appreciated if we were i

My husband has been seeing Dr. Shaikh since last spring, following a fall in a parking lot last March, 2017. Today, we had an appointment with him, the 3rd, after many tests he did. He for some reason he asked if we had an attorney. We said we did just obtain one. With that, he said he would not treat him anymore and we were shocked. I should have said he apparently didn't care about his patients. We now have to find a new dr. after wasting all the time with him. What a shame!
