Afib Assigned Dr. Tai, relatively young, so I went along at hospital. First follow up with him, then Julie Elliot the PA, (only thing good about that place), she recommended a Calcium Scan. Next follow up was with Dr. Tai- calcium scan for heart came out great, however did another follow up about a year later- and the office 'Forgot' to send over the calcium screen to my primary. If you are ready for a nightmare, choose this clinic. Three people in the reception area and NONE picking up the phone. When you call the phone is muted. I had to go there to understand why every single time I call I get the voicemail and they even have the audacity to have a recording saying: We’ll call you back in 48 to 72 hours!! So I went, call the office and nothing. The phones never rang, plus those three people were practically doing nothing. I recently was admitted o the hospital with AFIB. Dr Tai was my cardiologist and was notified that I was in the hospital. My AFIB Led to a Heart Attack and Dr. Tai had still not responded. The next day I was still in the hospital and contacted Dr. Tai's office myself. I was assured he would be there in an hour. He did not arrive for another 8 hours, long after I was discharged. In May, 2023, I was referred by my primary doctor for potential coronary artery disease to Dr. Tai. I had previously seen Dr Tai for an echocardiogram and stress test. I saw Dr. Tai May 9 and he wanted to wait 6 weeks, possibly for more tests. No tests were ordered. My father had a heart attack in 2008 and was taken to the ER. He met Dr. Tai at that time. He’s been a patient of doctor Tai ever since. He started out at Gessler Clinic with him. He will not go anywhere else. Dr. Tai is very knowledgeable and that’s why he is so busy and booked. I mean when you are good everyone wants to see you. We choose to wait especially if it’s not an emergency. He’s had to have nurse practitioners and others to join the office because he has gotten that busy. It took over a month to get an appt SCHEDULED for his heart cath. We had to be at the hospital at 7am, procedure set for 10am. It is 1:30pm and have not had the procedure done yet. So far we are not really impressed.

I gave Dr Tai & his practice 6 months & multiple chances to help me, they failed miserably! They never answer the phone & don’t return calls, they never respond to pharmacy refill requests & their so called office manager told me I was high maintenance. Are you kidding? If I call, I expect a return call. If my pharmacy reaches out, I expect you to respond. They’ve been short staffed for 6 months, that’s ridiculous! This whole practice needs to be revamped starting with their poor excuse of an OM

A fantastic doctor,my docs in Texas sent me home to dye ,saying no more stints could be inserted so I came back to Florida to spend my remaining time closer to our kids and grandchildren. My son, Tony Jr. ask me to try his cardio dr. Z. Tia, who was ale to get stints in where no one else could!!! Thank God for Dr Tai my wife & family love you,me too!! IF you are need of a cardiologist you need not look any futher,Dr Zaheed Tai is the verry best and if can't help you, he'll find one who can.
