They put my mother on a no pain meds list all because she didn't have a last minute ride to go in to see them when they called her to come in. There was no appointment. My mother is in her 80's and has a lot of pain. But cannot get pain meds all because of these doctors putting her on a no pain meds list. So now other doctors are prescribing a med that is messing with her memory. I know this med is the reason for her memory loss because my sister took it and had the same issues.
