I have been seeing Dr. Williams since I moved to Maryland eight years ago. I have had a psych in the past, but they were not as attentive and open as others. She doesn't just put you on anything without changing it, she helps you find the combination that works for you. When something stops working, she will work to get you another one. She genuinely cares about her patients, is professional, dependable, and kind. She is excellent at what she does. I highly recommend her!
When I moved to the Baltimore area in 2005, I was lucky to have found Dr. Yura Williams. Finding a good psychiatrist can feel daunting, and I remember how worried and anxious I felt, new town, new everything. 20 years later, I only have had positive experiences with Dr. Williams and am thankful to have found her. I love that she offers telehealth appointments, which is very convenient, especially since I do not need to take off work for appointments. Many thanks to her and Jesse!
My son has been seeing her for years. She spends the amount of time that is needed on each patient. There were times she sat with us for 30 minutes or more. Because of this, she can frequently be running late, but we gladly wait as it is so important to have a doctor who cares enough to go off schedule as needed.
I've been a patient for 20 years . Dr Williams has always been very attentive, knowledgable and responsive.
