Dr. Vivas did a cardiac ablation in 2023, nicked an artery during the procedure and never noted it, never alerted recovery, never checked me out after the surgery although I was bleeding in recovery, and I asked if he had been informed. They said yes. Bleeding was stopped, and I was released without him seeing me, or telling me or anyone about the nick, and I began bleeding again at home and needed to call 911. Six more days in hospital, and they had to put in a stent to stop it. I felt he totally abandoned me after the surg... read more
I was concerned about my irregular heart rate, so I underwent an EKG. Thanks to Dr. Vivas, who carefully reviewed the results and prescribed the appropriate medication, my heart rate is now normal. I am grateful for the time and attention Dr. Vivas dedicated to my care.
Nicked an artery during ablation, and was released from hospital without being seen or warned although I had been bleeding in recovery. I was not told about nick until days after when I had to call an ambullance as I was bleeding internally, and had to get stent and six days in hospital mostly due to damage from original surgery by Vivas not being caught earlier.
He did not show up for my pacemaker procedure. He change the time at the last minute then forgot about it. Left me in pre op for hours. No apology, just blaming the hospital and his own staff. Nothing got done. He sounded like a scared cricket about to get the hook put in him. He knew he had screwed up but was neither man enough nor professional enough to admit it. Avoid this fruitcake at all costs.
Dr Vivas is a God send. He cured my A-Fib with ablation . He AND his staff are friendly, courteous and always willing to answer questions,, help with concerns and follow up.
Dr. Vivas is a talented physician. I am so pleased with the results of my ablation performed July 28 this year. I am again able to live a full life. His staff is caring and efficient. Blessings to all in the medical profession who are working so hard to keep us healthy.
The worst place on earth. Vivas had a scheduled heart procedure for my 86 year old mother at delray medical center. My wife flies to Florida in order to help my mom. They arrived at delray medical center at 7:30 as directed by a nurse the day before. They wait 2 hrs in waiting area. 9:10 they call my mom in ready to have the procedure. She changes clothes she gets an IV and oxygen in the nose all standard. Vivas never showed up for the procedure. They say they have no idea where he is. Called the office of Dr Vivas they you ... read more
After being diagnosed with Atrial fibrillation, Dr. Vivas suggested I have an ablation. Dr. Vivas put me at ease explaing how the procedure would be performed using a cryoablation balloon. I underwent the ablation and I am completely satisfied with the results. I feel better and my symptoms are gone. I highly recommed him for his expertise. I am forever grateful to Dr. Vivas for giving me my life back.
Beware!! If you want to stay alive, don't go here..Dr Vivas provided incomplete and in accurate options to cure my Afib. after installing a Pacemaker and performing an AV node ablation one of the three leads was discovered to have came off during a post op follow up exam. Further, three attempts by him and his partner Dr Morel to properly program the pacemaker failed. I went to Dr. Baez at Cleveland Clinic who programmed it in 5 min. The lead required another operation to correct.
