Place is a joke, glad I read the reviews and found out I'm not alone. My insurance covers a cleaning once every 6 months. Decided to try this place as they were in network. The Asian dentist (not sure if it was Chen or Yu?) comes in, takes about 3 mins "cleaning" my teeth with essentially the same tools I have at home (waterpik, etc). I say "every time I get a cleaning it's a much longer process and I notice a bigger difference". She says "this is all we have here, this is how we do it". Incompetent excuse for a dentist. Completed half of the x-rays and charged insurance for a full set. She diagnosed me with nothing wrong based upon the x-rays only. I'm in constant pain and I know I have cavities. She refused to look in my mouth and was hiding behind my chair so I couldn't see her. She fraudulently billed my insurance for an oral exam. Horrible! Stay away! Went this morning for a cleaning. My first red flag was not a single other patient in the office waiting area or rooms. I was met with a very rude Asian dentist who insisted I needed a full set of X-rays even though I just had them done recently at Stony Brook Dental as I am in the process of getting a tooth implant with them. Once I mentioned this, all bets were off. They insisted on a full set of X-rays so I complied. This “doctor” Yu came in with an attitude and cleaned my teeth herself! No dental hyg... read more
