Dr Ousman is an excellent and most knowledgeable endocrinologist in this area. He takes care of his patients so well. He listens to the patients and spends good time to understand the symptoms/problems. He himself calls the patients to explain their lab results and their treatment plan. I highly recommend people to go and see him.

I had an appointment with Dr. Ousman for my daughter. When I arrived, I spent an hour looking for his office, going back and forth on a hot day, in and out of the INOVA buildings in the middle of Ramadan while fasting. While we are running around looking for his office, I'm also on the phone with INOVA waiting to get through the many operator instructions and finally transferred to someone who tells me he has relocated his office. Terrible "bedside manner". Not a good listener and quick to tell you his opinion vice listening to symptoms and talking through alternatives or solutions. He may have a good deal of knowledge, but his demeanor inhibits effective communication and understanding. I'm following his current direction and prescription, but I'm also seeking a second opinion.
