Echoing what I have seen on other reviews. I only had contact with Eugene (front office admin) and the way he speaks is presumptuous and difficult to work with. There seems to be no way to actively contact the doctor without going through him. He thinks he is the arbiter of mental health when in reality he is a tone deaf secretary.

I did not see the doctor. I was not a patient here. This review is based on an encounter with admin. I called to set up an appointment because I wanted a second opinion on a diagnosis and prescription. The admin staff who answered my call let me know that if I was willing to wait, an appointment would be available about a month away. I accepted. Love Dr Bekker but save yourself the headache — her office front desk person (Eugene) is difficult to work with. There’s no way to actively contact the doctor without going through him and he’ll block access even when you’d like to check in with the doctor directly on a situation. I’m sure he’s just being a tone deaf enforcer of office policies but it’s customer service 101 to let me speak with the boss if I’m asking to speak to the boss? Can’t believe I’m resorting to writing this.

I’ve been very happy with Dr Bekker. She has helped me in many ways. What I like best about her is she listens to me and trusts my judgement. It really feels like we are working together to find the right path for me. Highly recommend her.
