I have had a few C&P exams over the years and Dr. Garcia and his assistant (James?) actually made me feel like they were listening to me and understanding what I was saying. Dr. Garcia took time to ask a question and then let me answer it without rushing me to answer. He took notes, he paid attention, and let me say what I needed to say. Even though the VA didn't come back with a positive rating that I still think I deserve, Dr. Garcia made me feel like a patient and not just a number.
Dr. Garcia provided my Veteran husband the most comprehensive examination he has ever had. He was kind, caring, thorough and very knowledgeable with regard to VA protocols. We highly recommend him and his staff. Look forward to seeing him again in the future.
Hands down the best Doc I've gotten to see through the VA. His PA is great, both genuinely care about Vets and their patients get the attention that proves this. I'd ur assigned to r. Garcia, count ur blessings and ur luck. If u are able to get to him u should request him. Even if it's out of the way, request him! How many of us will go out of our way for a good steak or restaurant? How about the top notch kind of medical attention u and ur body deserve. Can't stress enough how highly I recommend him and his team.
Dr. Garcia and his staff were beyond nice and personable. My anxiety is usually through the roof when I'm visiting a Doctor concerning anything VA related, but he was so kind and friendly that I was able to relax during the appointment. He's also VERY serious about his COVID protocols, which was a huge plus for me as well.
Dr. Garcia is very personable and friendly. He engages you in conversation and genuinely seems to take a vested interest in his patients. Contrary to another comment, he's dressed for the office -- HIS office. He wears a doctor's coat over his clothes. I've had 2 Comp & Pen appointments with him: one earlier this year that resulted in a successful claim and a more recent one that just got filed. I'd recommend him to any veteran.
