Probably the worst experience with a Dr. I’ve ever had. Dismissive of my wife, immediately made a random diagnosis for our infant he’s seen for 3 seconds, deciding she needed her ears cleaned for zero reason and was rough and held her head down while she screamed. He has plenty of openings and now we know why. Avoid him like the plague.
My kids were seen by Dr. Wurm for over two years. Here are some facts if you are considering his practice. He pushed for my daughter to get unnecessary X-rays several times and pushed to get her medicated for asthma, when the specialist said his concerns were unjustified and she did not have asthma. He also missed a mental health problem on one of my kids, and basically just dismissed my concerns implying the reason for her/his conducts was that I was not strict enough with my kids. After many recommendations, I have been taking my kid to Dr. Wurm for the past few years. My oldest was past all the basic developmental stages so besides basic illness or wellness checks, we never saw him. My middle son was rarely seen until he started with frequent ear infections which I had to ask for the referral to ENT despite meeting the guidelines for referral and strong family history. Not only is Dr. Wurm wonderful, but his entire staff is too. I am always able to get my sick child in the same day and they never rush appointments. It's obvious they truly care about their little patients.
Amazing bedside manner and the best nurses and staff. Always takes his time and is there for both child and their parents. He always seems to fit my little ones in if their sick.
