I had my first visit with Dr Tankersley on April 16,2024. I have had total knee replacement and 2 revisions in Macon, Ga. Got an infection and the 2 Drs that did the 3 surgeries wanted to refer me. So I saw Dr Tankersley. He was very kind, in no hurry, explained the plan to help me and answered all of our questions. I have a surgery date set with him. Possibly going to be 2 more surgeries. We felt very blessed to find a Dr that seemed to care and willing to help. Nurse and front office people very nice! Highly recommend
Fast, professional, caring, and um, the doctors are pretty good looking too.
Dr. Stephan Tankersley did a knee replacement on one of my knees years ago because the first doctor did do it right. If or when I have to have my other knee or hip replaced I will only let Dr. Stephan Tankersley do it. He doesn't rush you in and out he explains everything and listens to his patients and answers all their questions. I have and will continue to give anyone that is in need of a Great Orthopedic Joint Surgeon his name and is the one I Highly Recommend and the Only one that will do surgery on me. The staff was courteous and helpful.
I have had 4 major joint replacements. Dr. Tankersley's group has been the best. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable medical and office staff. Good job guys.
