Great emergency care After a long day at work I started to get extreme pain in my eye. It lasted for a half hour before I called Dr. Berger. His office was about to close though when I told his receptionist about my problem she told me to come right over. Dr. Berger was extremely concerned and put me at ease right away. He told me that he was able to see a scratch on my cornea and that was what was causing the pain. My review Been going here for a few years. Last time I went in I had one dilated pupil I woke up with. I was concerned. I went for the visit and Dr. Berger checked it out. He suggested it was a 'Corneal Abrasion' and my eye will probably stay dilated forever. The next day I woke up and it was back to normal. He was wrong but that is a good thing in this case.
Best experience ever! I never had a contact lens fitting and was not sure what to expect. The doctor could tell I was nervous and talked me through, what turned out to be, a simple process. He was pleasant and concerned. I wasn't sure what to expect and was very happy that Dr Berger was so patient. When it came to buying the contact lenses I bought them at his office because I trusted his ability and felt that buying them there would insure that I got just what I needed. Ms I was told my contacts would be in the following day, by 4:00. When I called at 4pm to pick them up I was told they werent there...I asked the women to double check because I would told they would definatley be there, and she started talking to the doctor who told her that he told me "possibly". Had they told me that something happened and they werent there I would not have had a problem, but do NOT tell me that you told me something different! Mrs. J Piraino W. I had an injury to my eye, and Dr. Berger was concerned enough to follow up with several phone calls, and made sure he checked my injury more time than even my insurance would allow, at no expense to me. This is a professional who put his patients needs first.
