I was referred to Dr. Probasco because of a structural ankle issue. I had an MRI exam which showed I would need arthroscopic surgery. When I arrived, I was told that I wouldn't meet with Dr. Probasco, only his PA, which I don't think is right, since he was there at the time. Even though the MRI said my ankle would most likely require surgery, the PA returned and told me that Dr. Probasco said the problem could be solved if I purchased a pair of shoe insoles for $480 because the problem was that I had flat feet. Amazing doctor! Your in good hands!
I had swelling of my ankle and pain each morning. This subsided during the daytime hours but wasn’t getting better so I made an appointment with Dr. Probasco. He had an X-ray taken and an MRI. Results were fracture and tendinitis After 3 weeks in a boot and special shoe inserts, most of the pain subsided. I saw the doctor again and an X-ray was taken. Fracture healed tendinitis still needs to heal. Dr Probasco answered all my concerns. I will stay in contact with his office if I feel it necessary.
