Dr. Cheshire is a phenomenal clinician, and one of the few specialists in the US who handles dysautonomia. During my consult with him, he correctly diagnosed genetic issues that none of my care team had recognized. He then recommended specific followups that proved helpful to me years later. Dysautonomia and issues that stem from it like postural orthostatic tachycardia are difficult to treat and afford few easy answers for most patients. I’d leave zero starts if I could. This man blames the patient instead of getting to The root problem. What a waste of time and money seeing him at the Mayo clinic in Jacksonville. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time or money.
Dr. Cheshire represents the reason Mayo Clinic is so valued in the medical community. I’ve been searching for answers for close to two years, and it took us forty minutes to come up with a game plan for my health. He was thorough, professional, and took the time to listen. I’m so glad I made the decision to come up to Mayo. I finally feel optimistic about my healthcare.
Would not recommend. My daughter has seen him twice will absolutely no recommendation, dx, or treatment.... and he lies in his reports blaming obvious physical issues on “possible underlying psychological issues” when a absolutely none are present. Just because he is clueless about what is wrong with my daughter he can’t admit that and instead blames the sick patient! Unacceptable! Won’t be going back!
This guy ROCKS! Listened to me and was very kind. Ordered testing that I needed.
