I grew up in Utica New York. I am the oldest of three children and the first in my family to go to college. I practiced as a community pharmacist for six years before I went to medical school. I enjoyed pharmacy but I wanted to be more involved in patient care. I enjoy general internal medicine because it allows me to help take care of the whole patient. I have been practicing internal medicine in Raleigh since 2000. I am married and have three daughters. My daughters play travel soccer and I love traveling with them to watc... read more

I've been going to Dr. Griffiths for years. I've appreciated his knowledgeable, concise, open, and caring skills. Also, I have admired his strong work ethic. As his patient for many years, I sincerely trust my physician for my health has been his priority.

He lacked knowledge of cholesterol tests beyond basic HDL/LDL and yet encouraged me to take statins which no other doctor has ever suggested based on my excellent health. He declined to order tests I had in the past based on previous medical conditions because recent tests were OK even though it is important to monitor hormone levels. I will not be seeing Dr Griffiths again and strongly recommend avoiding... read more
is always late and does say that he's sorry for running late
I find him very thorough and focused just on me when I am there. I like him very much.
Unfamiliar with my condition even though it is not rare
Unfamiliar with Common Medical Condition
Positives are that he’s knowledgeable and thorough. Areas to improve: Spends the majority of the exam on a computer with his back turned rather than listening. Talks very fast and can be dismissive
He is great! My father-in-law, who is his patient, loves him. However, Dr. Griffith's office staff is so disorganized and ineffective, and often both rude and unable to understand basic issues, we would never recommend Dr. Griffiths.
Short tempered. Not much bedside manner! After a couple of visits I asked for a change. I visit one of the other physicians at this location now and am quite satisfied.
