My dtr has braces and the plan has been going on as scheduled. It is like a family business and everyone is very nice and will work with you. Her appts have worked with our schedules
The staff is all wonderful and friendly. The facilities are always clean. The waiting room is even filled with reading matierials, complimentary drinks, and a play area for children. Although, you won't use it much, because the wait is very minimal! They are so fast! I had my invisalign done here and my after care checks. Most appointments last under 15 minutes including waiting time!
They don't explain fully what is going to happen. They said invisalign was just like a retainer, but then 2 weeks in they decided to put glue on the teeth. Then when they polish them off, they end up taking the enamal off of the teeth. If they would explain before they do any work, it might have made things better, then I wouldn't have gotten them at all. He will talk down to you if you are not "adult" meaning if a parent was around at all.
Dr. Kottemann treats his patients like they are on an assembly line, moving quickly from one patient to the next. After signing up a client, he will not lower himself to go speak with the parents, choosing to send an assistant instead. Most of his staff is friendly except for the office manager who has an insincere smile on her face as she treats you rudely. You would be better off seeing an orthodontist who has a genuine concern for you.
Dr. Kottemann has beautiful offices and seems to be the "trendy" orthodontist for many customers. However, I am very dissatisfied with my results. After almost three years of having braces, Dr. Kottemann neglected to institute any follow-up treatment. Without any kind of a retainer to keep my teeth in place, they are once again moving and becoming crooked. Dr Kotteman, as well as everyone at the office were thorough, kept us informed. We were completely satisfied with the care of our son's teeth.
His staff is awesome.They make you feel like your a person not just a number. Dr. Kottemann is a very nice and very patient Dentist I would recommend him to anyone I know. I had invisalign and I'm very pleased with the results. Very reasonable in prices. Thanks so much for the great experience!!

4 of my children have been to Dr. Kottemann, of which 3 needed braces. He has been fantastic, and we love the results. The ranged from 2.5 years in braces to 1.25 years. The whole crew is extremely efficient and professional, and the staff all know my children and my family. They Rock and I would recommend them to ANYONE!
