I've been going to Dr. Raney for 10+ years and he is a treasure. He is the very rare goldilocks combination of a truly high skilled master of his craft yet looks for the most cost effective solution to whatever issue you are having. For example, several years ago I had an insurance change and needed to change to a different dentist. First visit went great!
I love Dr. Raney. He does a great job and always takes time to answer all of my questions. He tells me how much anything will cost and even recommends cheaper store bought solutions. The best.
My dad had two teeth removed due to an infection. It would make sense that Dr. Raney would prescribe antibiotics to prevent further spread of infection, right? He didn't prescribe antibiotics nor did he prescribe painkillers. My dad has been in lots of pain for 3 days now. Over the counter painkillers are not helping his pain whatsoever. Also, after injecting the anesthetic, my dad still had sensation in his mouth, explicitly told the dentist, and he continued to proceed while telling my dad "it's a fast procedure."
