very rude, and condescending! would like to find another doctor!!!! office seemed out of date, dirty and my kids were scared of him! dont want to go back!
Dr. Clardy is very knowledgeable, but sees things very black and white. I found him to be trustworthy, based on his knowledge, but unfortunately quite rude and condescending. He made me feel like his opinions on parenting were his way or the highway.
My son has used Dr. Clardy when he was 1-3 & when I moved down to LR for 2 years I had to find another provider.Now that I'm back in FS I was happy to see that I could use him again.As far as the negative reviews this is truly a case of people on cheap/government insurance who demand & expect the absolute best.LETS GET REAL! Unfriendly and not thorough. Only refers to certain facilities regardless of parent input or desires.
As a parent and health care professional myself, I am astounded and appalled that a Pediatrician treats children --any children-- this way. I am disgusted at the insults directed at my intelligence and decisions as a parent, and even more, at the blatant disregard Dr. Clardy showed toward my son, from the loud, demanding commands to the rough and harsh way he was touched and treated physically throughout the entire visit. Dr. Clardy was extremely rude and insensitive every time I ever took my daughter in to see him. He was scary to me, and I'm sure my daughter was scared too. The nurses were nice enough but he was a hideous man and a horrible doctor. Everyone who has ever seen him says the same thing. They will never take their kids back. The experience is always awful.
We have a foster child that was assigned to him. He flat out told us that he did not like foster kids or DHS. He then went on to say that he nor his nurses would not fill out any forms DHS required for us. He refused to refer our son for a UAMS medical evaluation. He had terrible bedside manner. He would not check our son for diabetes. He was rude, hateful, and unprofessional. It was my first time to see this doctor. His office was dirty and he was very rude. He did not care what I had to say, and treated me as if I were a bad parent because I had questions on how to care for my sick newborn. Will not go back.
